People born and living by the sea are fishermen. They may be fishers not of physical, but of metaphysical fish, but still, they are fishermen. They can walk around the world in sailor clothes, with fishing rods, they can come to discos or party meetings with fishing rods, they can look like jerks. And these are not jerks, they are fishermen. Those who live on the seashore share their existence with the sea, even their dreams. At night, the sea turns black and breathes deeply, eats the dreams of those living nearby, mixes them with the dreams of fish. In return, the sea gives a fishing initiation / Roman Mikhailov/ Once on the island, but at the same time in the center of Novosibirsk, imbued with its energy - noisy, industrial, marine, we created a bureau for collecting dreams, in which we gave home plants for the love stories and dreams told. The survival strategies of the island's inhabitants turned out to be very different - from grounding, in which there is no place for memories and feelings, to escaping into the world of dreams and becoming a demiurge. Stepping into the world of magic, finding a magic crystal, falling in love once and for all with a guy from the port, sleeping and seeing water is to survive (not) die./lie down on a chaise longue/put on headphones/ go on a trip around the island/The Island Project

The project was created in several stages. At the first one, we came to Novosibirsk to participate in the laboratory. Our goal was to work with the local context. We interviewed residents of houses on Fabrichnaya Street. Based on these stories, we have constructed an audio installation.
