Located in the center of the gallery, a massive tent is decorated with a colored bedspread and artificial roses. Colored lights shine through the fabric of the tent. Inside, the viewer discovers flickering garlands, a disco ball lying on the floor, purple and gold fabrics. In the center, on a dais, there is bread. The 40x60 cm rectangle has a classic attractive aroma of a bakery product, which mixes with the smell of fresh flowers lying nearby. The visual part of the installation is complemented by a soundtrack. The sounds of human biology are heard: coughing, groans, scratching, stomach rumbling, champing, sighing. The viewer is invited to break and eat the “body”. With reference to our early work Maslenitsa, we continue to explore the theme of rituals and cults.
